Doi Chaang Coffee are grown in Doi Chaang Valley located on Mae Suay district in Chiang Rai. The original work that the villagers were holding are opium planting. Then in the year 1983, public welfare services has supported ‘Arabica’ coffee to the villagers instead of opium. After that Doi Chaang Coffee are ranked to be Premium level of SHB (Strictly Hard Bean) coffee because of the 1,200 metre above sea level planting. The hight effected the ripe of coffee seeds. The higher, the better that coffee can accumulate mineral from the earth and make the coffee has sweet smell, more tasty and less caffeine. This is good for coffee lovers who drink coffee regularly. Moreover, Doi Chaang Coffee are roasted from the best G.W Barth coffee roaster in ‘Full City’ level which can draw a secreat of qualified coffee distinctively. Doi Chaang Coffee is also one of the limited ‘Single Original’ coffee in the world because the consumers can be sure that there will be no other kinds of coffee seeds were mixed up with Doi Chaang Coffee. ドイ チャーンコーヒーはチェンラーイ県メースエイのドイ チャーン バレーで栽培されることからこう名付けられました。
1983年、当時アヘンを栽培していた村民に、山岳民族支援のためフェアトレードプロジェクトとして、アラビカコーヒーの栽培を指導。ドイチャーン コーヒーではその豆を使用しています。
ドイ チャーン コーヒーは、海抜1,200メートルで栽培された、高級格付け豆SHB(ストリクトリー・ハードビーン)を使用。ミネラルを含んだ芳醇な味わいが楽しめます。
